Very timely post and great information for all IM folks who have multi purpose, Rich Media content. Adobe has elevated the bar with unlimited potential for great marketing applications.

Another great strategy is to embed content which does not change over time like topic specific, supporting video content and 'streaming into the pdf' video content from a media hosting service or 'media web host' like YouTube etc.

Either way, the video may also be selected to carry a browser redirect. The author may redirect the readers browser to a url further supporting the content or a call to action. This is a very powerful technique used in website video and also available to desktop applications like the now famous 'Rich Media pdf'.

A terrific example is the demo Adobe just released as an interactive pdf highlighting the 'Final Four Tourney'. See Adobe's website for this fabulous demonstration of the power of Adobe Acroba®.

In my view, the forms applications are also very powerful for the Internet Marketer. Having two way communication ability inside the pdf file to collect user input from a call to action message is paramount, direct response marketing. Auto responder opt-in forms inside pdf newsletters has proven a very powerful list builing tool for our applications.

Keep the great information flowing!

Warmest Regards,
